¡°Roads separate here extending in all directions. Thus, it is known as Badaling,¡± Jiang Yikui, a scholar of Ming Dynasty, best summarized Badaling in his book Changan Ke Hua. It displayed the convenience and significance of Badaling in transportations. No matter you drive cars or take buses, you will arrive at Badaling Great Wall conveniently and rapidly.

Self-drive: Set out from downtown Beijing and steer into the Badaling Expressway at the Qinghe junction. Turn right at the No.21 exit of Badaling Expressway to drive into the scenic spot.
