  Looking toward Beijing Temple
Looking toward Beijing Temple, located to the northeast of the Outer Town of Juyong, was constructed in Jin Dynasty. It was originally known as the Jinlou Temple, hosting a rock-chisseled Great Mercy Buddha Statue. In fine days, people may see Beijing City proper from the temple. The temple was dismantled in 1505 to construct the Pass. Nowadays, the temple is reconstructed into landmark architecture in the core area of Badaling Great Wall. The reconstructed temple occupies a land of 600 square meters, featuring tranquil courtyard and elegant antiquity. It has become an attractive scene in the Badaling Great Wall scenic spot.
