State Guest Reception Room The State Guest Reception Room is located at the rear courtyard of the military camp at the southern part of the Pass. The reception room is marked with a horizontal inscribed board above the gate reading State Guest Reception Room, written by Mr. Fei Xiaotong. It receives foreign heads of states and heads of governments and Chinese state leaders touring the Badaling Great Wall. They would take a rest, sign their names and subscribe inscriptions there. At a corner of the green-brick-paved courtyard stands a granite stele, reading Shuang Jing Yuan (double tranquil garden) inscribed by former vice-premier Huang Hua.
